Sometimes it helps to hear about the pattern for success from another angle from someone else.

Subject: Be the swimmer that is ambitious and accountable
Oh, hello there!
Ambition and accountability.
Sounds like a financial services firm staffed by former boy band members.
But it’s the balance (ha—finance pun!) you need to strive for.
It’s why some swimmers do this stuff...
- Have big goals — but don’t write them out
- Say they want to work hard every day — but only work hard when they feel like it
- Want a killer mentality on race day – but only competes when it’s easy and safe
Instead, having ambition AND accountability means you...
- Have big goals — write them out and have a plan to achieve it
- Want to work hard every day — rate your effort each day getting out of the water
- Have a killer mentality on race day – compete with everything and everyone (especially yourself)
The funny thing is that most swimmers have generally the same goals. The same ambitions.
They just don’t have the same accountability in place.
See ya in the water,
Olivier
PS: It’s not hard to talk big about your ambitions. About the stuff you want to do. Anyone can do that.
(And plenty do!)
Instead, this year be the swimmer that rolls hard on their goals and their process.
Which means you can be *that* swimmer…You know…
The one who is ambitious with their goals and accountable to them.
